Touted by Fodor’s Travel as “one of America’s best pumpkin festivals,” the 16th annual Autumn at the Dallas Arboretum is a perfect fall celebration for the whole family. Presented by Reliant, the festival will run from September 18 through October 31 and features an estimated 90,000 pumpkins, squash and gourds. If you’re looking for a magical autumn adventure, this is definitely it. This year they are transforming the Lakeside Exhibit Area into “larger-than-life insect topiaries, fascinatingly bugged-out pumpkin houses, and, of course, a maze for younger visitors.”
What better way to enjoy the splendors of fall than by taking the family – or that special someone – to enjoy a movie at Klyde Warren Park. Whether you’re itching to watch Ferris Bueller’s Day Off on September 25 or catch Beetlejuice on October 30 to get into the Halloween spirit, you’re sure to have a great time.
